Yes, I admit it. My everyday handbag is a TNA logo print tote. And yes, I actually love it. It's surprisingly roomy without looking like an over-sized bag. And it actually looks much better than the one here on the right. Mine is more black (very black) than coloured, and my straps are dual-toned instead of just plain dull black. It's also very sturdy and very well made. Plus, it was cheap!

One thing I will never do is spend a ridiculous sum of money on something that every girl on the TTC owns. For example Coach. One day, I saw a girl wearing everything Coach -- necklace, earrings, ring, bag. It was so gross that I couldn't take my eyes off of her. But I'm sure she didn't mind my staring.

I've started researching for an everyday handbag upgrade. Right now, I'm drooling over the Gucci boston bag. It's amazing how similar they are. The TNA measures about 12"L x 7"W x 8"H. The straps have a 10" drop which makes it so versatile because it can be both a handheld/armheld and shoulder bag. The Gucci measures at 13"L x 7"W x 8.7"H. The top handle has a 3.5" drop, and the bag comes with a shoulder strap with a 20" drop. Both bags have hard flat bottoms. And my TNA tote even features a black/colour/black design on the straps similar to the green/red/green web featured on the front of the Gucci boston. I wonder if TNA was giving a tribute to Gucci when they designed their tote.

The TNA tote is clearly very popular with the masses. And the Gucci design has established itself to be a classic. There must be other bags with a similar design. I already know of Louis Vuitton's Speedy bag (which is a lovely bag, but has made too many appearances on the TTC). I have to do more research.
